Programming Language - MAS 500 is developed in Visual Basic (also known as Visual Studio .NET) and Transact SQL for Microsoft SQL Server.

Database -   Microsoft SQL Server 2000

Source Code - is available for purchase.  Source code requires purchase of the Advanced edition of MAS 500, and each module then costs about $10,000.  See the pricing table for more information.

Development Tools - MAS500 is optimized for the Microsoft environment with the following development tools:
Microsoft.NET, Microsoft Visual basic 6.0, Microsoft Component Object Model (COM) implemented with a high level of granularity, and Transact-SQL.

Transaction Volume - MAS 500 distributes processing between the client machine using Visual Basic and Visual C++ and the server suing Transact-SQL. Following are some sample benchmarks:

GL Journal Posting - 1,565,000+ transactions/hour
AP Voucher Posting -  467,000 transactions/hour
AR Invoice Posting -    244,000 transactions/hour
SO Shipment Posting - 360,000 transactions/hour

Operating Systems - Windows 2000

Remote Access - Microsoft Terminal Services, Citrix MetaFrame
